The SunGATE property is a well known, iconic site in Caboolture and is a welcomed addition to the DGS portfolio. DGS is excited about the development potential that the site brings given the location and exposure to the major arterial and its proximity to both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Already established and operational on the site is a Motel, Tavern and Service Station.
DGS have received development approval for the SunGATE Retail and Convenience centre being Stage 1 of the overall Masterplan. We are currently under negotiations with a number of tenants to secure final spaces in the centre.
The most exciting part of the SunGATE Development is the overall Master Plan which was
lodged with Moreton Bay Regional Council. With approval granted in December 2009, the Master Plan will foster a range of uses over the site from Office, Light Industry, warehouse, additional Retail and essential Community Services such as a Medical Centre. The Master Plan will form a fully integrated project that fulfils the demands of the Shire. The Master Plan will involve an extensive planning process through Council.
